The independence of having an apartment rather than a hotel room to come home to. Not being bothered with a timetable, doing what we wanted when we wanted.
When we arrived, although we had been assured that the apartments were Non-Smoking, it smelled of cigarette smoke. We went to the Christmas Market the next day and bought smelly candles to cover the smell. We asked for an automatic air freshener in the apartment to be replaced, but it wasn't done.
